Sparkles of Blessing
A Message Filled with Beauty & Warmth

Following last year’s well-received debut of the musical Better Me, which drew enthusiastic praise and attention from the community, the second edition of the YHF Theatre training program and auditions has seen a strong return of familiar faces—nearly half of this year’s participants are returning members. This reflects not only their trust in the program but also the deep bonds of friendship they’ve formed. These personal connections are often more meaningful and lasting than the applause from any performance.

This year, we take on a new challenge with the production of Sparkles of Blessing, a large-scale musical inspired by a true story. The narrative spans across two generations and over forty years, featuring characters from a wide range of ages—from young children to elderly adults. With a cast twice the size of last year’s and the addition of a live choral ensemble performing interlude songs, the scope of the production has grown significantly. From the earliest ideas through to final production, this show has taken nearly a year and a half to bring to life. Despite the many hurdles—venue arrangements, technical demands, casting, and backstage logistics—we have faced every challenge head-on.

To offer even more opportunities for our performers, we’ve introduced an A/B cast format this year. Over two days, two distinct groups of actors will each take the stage, bringing their unique energy to the performance.

Through Sparkles of Blessing, we hope its heartfelt message will shine like a spark in the hearts of all who participate and attend, leaving a lasting impression of hope, resilience, and connection.
